Maple-Rosemary Almonds—-
- one bag unsalted almonds (about 16 oz.)
- 2 tbsp. maple syrup
- 1 tbsp. dried rosemary
- 2 tsp. vegetable oil (I use melted coconut oil)
Preheat oven to 350°. Mix all ingredients. Scrape onto parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake, stirring once, until golden and toasted, about 15 minutes. (For today’s happy hour, the almonds were toasty-roasty at 10 minutes. (Show up, be attentive, and do not over bake.)
And that’s your Alexander Technique on-line lesson for the week…..Show up!
Attend to the business-at-hand, whether it’s almond roasting or candlelight basking . Notice how you pay attention. For checking the almonds in the oven, do you bend at the hips over the open door and check the contents from a place of ease and length?
Indulge in conviviality and candlelight soon—-
